Tin is a silver-white metal of low melting point, is highly ductile and malleable, resistant to corrosion and fatigue and is easily recycled. It doesn’t get affected by air, but it oxidizes in the presence of heat. It forms alloys with almost all metals, especially with iron and copper to form the “tin plate” and “bronze.” Tin products are used for a wide range of applications – including products for coating or pre-tinning before soldering. Tin Alloys/ Solders find major modern technical applications in the stained glass industry, in electronic components such as computers and communications equipment.

MTIL produces high purity Tin by smelting of Tin Ore to produce Primary and Secondary Tin Metal, which is further Refined and transformed into Pure Tin with a minimum purity level of 99.97% by weight that in mostly achieves purity level of 99.985%.
