Production Process (Lead Alloys)

 
Charge the furnace with Raw Material and start firing.
 
Check the Molten Bath for Contamination
 
Check for Ag, Bi and other impurities in lead bath which must be below customer requirement.
 

Take out proportional Quantity of molten lead out of pot and add other material containing low content of impurities.

 
Check for Sb, Sn, As, Cu , Cd and other impurity.
 
Take out proportional Quantity of molten lead out of pot and add other material containing low content of impurities
 
1. De-Cu, De-Cd
2. Removal of Black Dross
 
1. Quality Control (Sample Test on Spectrometer)
2. Maintain the Composition of Bath As per     Customer
 

Add calculated Quantity of Sb or its master alloy keeping Stirrer in rotation and keeping the Temperature constant.

 

Take Sample after adding 75% of each Master / Pure Alloy. Calculate the Remaining as per analysis report and add balance quantity in one or two stages.

 

Add calculated Quantity of Sn or its master alloy keeping Stirrer in rotation and keeping the Temperature constant.

Add calculated Quantity of As or its master alloy keeping Stirrer in rotation and keeping the Temperature constant.

 

Take Sample after adding 75% of each Master / Pure Alloy. Calculate the Remaining as per analysis report and add balance quantity in one or two stages.

 

After setting of all elements within Spec. except Se, add Se Master Alloy or its Pure Form very cautiously & gradually keeping stirrer in rotation.

 
1. Stir the bath to ensure well homogeneous     mixture of lead bath.
2. Skim off the Dross.
 
1. Take Sample of Se Master / Pure Alloy.
2. Calculate the Remaining Quantity of Se Alloy as     per analysis report and add balance quantity in     one or two stages.
 
1. Quality Control (Final Sample Test on     Spectrometer).
2. Maintain the Composition of Bath As per     Customer Specification.
 
1. Ingot Casting
2. Regular Sample Checking.
 
Take Sample after every 200 ingots including first and last.
 
Take final analysis report from Quality Analysis Lab. Containing No. of Ingots, Lot no., Name of Customer & Product.
 
1. Packaging/Stacking/Color Coding
2. Warehousing
